Kanda is a suburb of the city of Kitakyushu. As of April 30, 2017, the town has an estimated population of 36,957 and a density of 800 persons per km2. The total area is 46.46 km2. | Kitakyushu Airport (北九州空港, Kitakyūshū-kūkō) (IATA: KKJ, ICAO: RJFR), sometimes called Kokuraminami Airport, is an airport in Kokuraminami-ku, Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. It is built on an artificial island in the western Seto Inland Sea, 3 km (1.9 mi) away from the city's downtown.
