Taku (多久市, Taku-shi) is a city located in Saga Prefecture on the island of Kyushu, Japan. The city was founded on May 1, 1954 through the merger of several towns and villages. As of March 1, 2017, the city has an estimated population of 19,202 and a population density of 200 persons per km². The total area is 96.93 km².
