Osaka (Japanese: 大阪市, Hepburn: Ōsaka-shi, pronounced [oːsakaɕi]; commonly just 大阪, Ōsaka [oːsaka] (listen)) is a designated city in the Kansai region of Honshu in Japan. It is the capital of and most populous city in Osaka Prefecture, and the third most populous city in Japan, following Special wards of Tokyo and Yokohama. With a population of 2.7 million in the 2020 census, it is also the largest component of the Keihanshin Metropolitan Area, which is the second-largest metropolitan area in Japan and the 10th largest urban area in the world with more than 19 million inhabitants.Osaka was traditionally considered Japan's economic hub. By the Kofun period (300–538) it had developed into an important regional port, and in the 7th and 8th centuries, it served briefly as the imperial capital. Osaka continued to flourish during the Edo period (1603–1867) and became known as a center of Japanese culture. Following the Meiji Restoration, Osaka greatly expanded in size and underwent rapid industrialization. In 1889, Osaka was officially established as a municipality. The construction boom accelerated population growth throughout the following decades, and by the 1900s, Osaka was the industrial hub in the Meiji and Taishō periods. Osaka made noted contributions to redevelopment, urban planning and zoning standards in the postwar period, the city developed rapidly as one of the major financial centers in the Keihanshin Metropolitan Area. Osaka is a major financial center of Japan, and it is recognized as one of the most multicultural and cosmopolitan cities in Japan. The city is home to the Osaka Exchange as well as the headquarters of multinational electronics corporations such as Panasonic and Sharp. Osaka is an international center of research and development and is represented by several major universities, notably Osaka University, Osaka Metropolitan University, and Kansai University. Famous landmarks in the city include Osaka Castle, Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, Dōtonbori, Tsūtenkaku in Shinsekai, Tennōji Park, Abeno Harukas, Sumiyoshi Taisha Grand Shrine, and Shitennō-ji, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Japan.

8．Takatsuki
Takatsuki (高槻市, Takatsuki-shi) is a city in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. It is located in northern Osaka's Hokusetsu region.As of 2020, the city had an estimated population of 347,944 and a population density of 3,300 persons per km². The total area is 105.31 km². The city was founded on January 1, 1943, and is situated almost directly between Kyoto and Osaka. Owing to the convenience of being 13 and 15 minutes by train from these two cities respectively, the city prospered and has developed with increasing rapidity to become one of the biggest commuter towns in the area, serving both Kyoto and Osaka. Culturally, Takatsuki is renowned for its Imashirozuka Kofun (burial mound). Earthenware funerary objects (haniwa) discovered around this mound include figurines of warriors almost certainly placed with a protective purpose (The form of such a warrior was used as the design basis for the city's official mascot character, Hanitan). Takatsuki is also known for its Takatsuki Jazz Festival, held every year in Golden Week . This is a two-day extravaganza of live jazz featuring over 300 acts, involving over 3,000 artists, who perform in 72 different locations in and around the central business district.

Miki Matsubara (松原みき, Matsubara Miki) (November 28, 1959 – October 7, 2004) was a Japanese composer, lyricist, and singer from Nishi-ku, Sakai, Osaka, Japan. She participated in the opening and ending theme songs of the TV anime "Gu-Gu Gummo" under the name of "Susie Matsubara." Her 1979 debut song "Mayonaka no Door" became a hit, reaching number 28 on the Oricon chart, selling 104,000 copies according to Oricon survey, and selling 300,000 copies announced by Canyon Records. 35．Toyono, Osaka
Toyono (豊能町, Toyono-chō) is one of the two towns in Toyono District. The town is located in the second northernmost area in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. The town is surrounded by two municipal borders to Kyoto Prefecture and Kawanishi, Hyōgo. The town covers the hilly and forest area in northern Osaka Prefecture. The West Block is at 200 to 300 meters high altitude, and the East and Southeast Blocks are at 400 to 600 meters high. As of October 2016, the town has an estimated population of 19,519 and a density of 570 persons per km2. The total area is 34.37 km2. The West Block has a few convenient access to the nearby city area within a 10-minute car drive. The Super highway provides an exit called "Minoh Todoromi" and the electrical railways provide 3 stations in the West Block. The railway runs to the northwest and to the south. It takes less than 1 hour to Osaka Umeda Station.
