Sumiyoshi-jinja (住吉神社) is the Japanese Shinto shrine at Hakata in Fukuoka Prefecture on the island of Kyushu.[1] Sumiyoshi was one of the chief Shinto shrines (ichinomiya) of the old Chikuzen Province.
